About Us
Metropolitan Affordable Housing Corporation (Metro) is a 501c (3) non-profit, a certified Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) and a Community Development Collaborative (CDC). Metro was founded in 1992 when a small group of citizens won a tax credit proposal to build Woodleaf Village, our first low-income affordable housing community. Metro is now a leader in affordable housing in the Eugene/Springfield area with a proven track record of success.
