The Metro Board of Directors are dedicated, active community members who serve on our monthly Board and Committee meetings. Each member demonstrates a high level of commitment and dedication to Metro, and our entire team is composed of individuals experienced in housing, finance, law and social services.|

Rick Larson, President
Rick is a tax attorney with Johnson, Clifton, Larson and Schaller and is a member of the Forum on Affordable Housing and Community Development Law. A life long resident of Eugene, Rick has been a member of the Metro board since its found in 1992, and is also a member of the Finance Committee. |

Harris Hoffman, Vice President
Harris is the former partner of Lorig Associates for 18 years and specialized in business development, financial strategies, private/public partnerships and public sector negotiations. Harris was the partner in charge during the rehabilitation and development of properties including: Lincoln School, US Bank Center and Broadway Place. He also played a role in the development team for Woodleaf Village, Metro’s first affordable housing Community. |

Jody Miller, Secretary
Jody has been in real estate since 1994 and currently works at Windermere Real Estate. Jody worked formerly as a City Planner and Intergovernmental Relations Director for the City of Eugene. |

Dean Huber, Treasurer
Dean is a partner as Kernutt Stokes LLP, a CPA and a Certified Pension Consultant. Dean has over 20 years experience and is viewed by his clients and peers as a trusted authority on retirement plans and employee benefits. He also authored “Planned Giving” for McKenzie-Willamette Hospital Newsletter. |

Barb Bellamy,
Barb works with the 4J Eugene School District as the Director of Communication and Intergovernmental Relations. Her work on the Metro Board includes chairing the Resource Development Committee to help with the fundraising and marketing plans for Metro and our Resident Services program. |

Philip Farrington ,
Phil is the Director of Land Use Planning and Development for PeaceHealth Oregon Region. Formerly the president of the Oregon Chapter, American Planning Association and currently serves on the Commission for APA's Professional Institute, the American Institute of Certified Planners. He is also a current member of the Board of Directors for the Springfield Chamber of Commerce. |

Mandy Jones ,
Mandy is the CEO of Oregon Community Credit Union and has more than 30 years of experience in the credit union industry. In her current position, Mandy is responsible for setting the strategic direction for the credit union as well as for overseeing all financial and operational areas. |

Jay Silverman ,
Jay is a retired entrepreneur with an extensive work history that includes National Car Rental, Crime Stoppers, Playline (a board game company that specialized in trivia and educational games) and J&B Plastics (Fairfield, Iowa), the midwest's oldest and largest custom, plastic profile extruder. Since moving to Eugene he has volunteered at FFLC, served as chairperson for Birth to Three's annual giving campaign, and continues to be very active in the Eugene Rotary Club. |

Susan Grimes ,
Susan is a WestTown on 8th tenant with a long history of volunteering in her local community. Susan helps to run the Extra Helping food program and is a member of the Neighborhood Watch group. She helps to represent the residents by offering a tenant perspective during Board level discussions. |

Sharon Ellis,
Sharon Ellis is a resident of Willamette Gardens and holds a Master’s Degree in Community and Regional Planning. She has previous experience working with affordable housing projects in Michigan, is an intern at Lane Transit District and has served on previous advisory boards. |

Mike Coughlin,
A managing Director of McKenzie Capital, a locally owned private equity firm that manages investments in commercial real estate and operating companies in Oregon. |

Gerry Gaydos ,
An attorney, founder and past president of the City Club of Eugene, past president of the Eugene Chamber of Commerce, Southtowne Rotary Club, Eugene YMCA, and the Birth-to-Three board of directors. Gerry has also served on the Eugene Planning Commission, the Eugene Library Foundation, and the City of Eugene Budget Committee. |

The owner of Windermere Real Estate, Matt brings to Metro his experience in our local area with real estate and local property development and management experience. |

Jean Tate ,
One of the original Metro founders, Jean is a tireless community activist with expertise in real estate and financing. The Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce named Jean Tate the 2007 First Citizen. |

Susan Ban ,
Susan is the Executive Director at ShelterCare, a local non-profit that serves families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and adults with psychiatric disabilities and survivors of brain injury. Susan also serves on the Peace Health Oregon Region Board. |
