ACCESS Model
Assets: Build individual assets
Community: Support and improve our local communities and neighborhoods
Collaboration: Collaborate with local providers who deliver quality services
Education: Offer continuing education and skill development
Services: Deliver meaningful resident services
Success: Create individual success that then builds successful communities
Metro communities serve as a catalyst; matching affordable housing with resident services through a program we call ACCESS. ACCESS programs are designed not only to provide housing, but to establish a support network and address the educational needs of residents. Our on-site resident services and programs are focused around job search training, career counseling, food and nutrition, providing constructive youth activities, access to homeownership education, consumer credit counseling, parenting classes, and positive community building events.
By offering residents on-site services and minimizing obstacles to participation, low and moderate income residents are provided with the resources needed to increase personal success both at home and in the workplace. These programs support and improve the communities we serve.
